Dear Shawn:

Several months have now elapsed since we moved back into our home on Sea Road
following the major work of having a second story added to our home by Douston Construction.

We felt this would be a nice time to thank you and your "family" for an excellent job done! We appreciated everyone's efforts during the ongoing construction to get our place together as quickly as possible (especially the roof!!!) during one of the severest winters in Maine! The quality of workmanship is excellent -- we have heard nothing but exclamations about the beautiful workmanship from everyone! We are enjoying our remodeled home tremendously!
Having to move out of our house for several months while our modest dwelling was being transformed into a lovely two-story home, was a challenging time for us, and we want to thank you for the friendly and considerate attention we received throughout the ongoing work -- the professionalism with which the whole process was handled, instilled a sense of confidence and trust in us that everything would be done right.

We want to especially thank and praise Patty and Paulette for their outstanding accounting
work. Both ladies did an excellent job of controlling and communicating the tracking and
billing of expenses.
Special thanks to David, our Project Manager, for his steady cheerfulness while always managing to stay on course! Also, special thanks to Eric, Bill, and Dominique for always going the extra mile to respond to any request from us regarding something that needed to be taken care of! Also, the friendly and courteous manner in which we were greeted by other staff members, whenever we stopped by the office, made it a pleasant experience.
We would not hesitate to highly recommend Douston Construction to anyone looking for a dependable and reliable construction company that employs a wonderful group of individuals with outstanding building, administrative, and people skills!!!
We wish the entire Douston Family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Dear Shawn:
Enclosed is a completed survey form we received quite a few weeks ago! I apologize for
not returning it sooner. We also want to thank you for CD and other photos of the house we recently received.

As we have previously stated, we are very pleased with our renovated home! The quality and workmanship is wonderful, and every member of the "Douston Family" was wonderful to work with!

We continue to receive compliments from friends who come to visit us. A particularly meaningful and telling compliment to the quality of your company's workmanship, came from a recent out-of-state friend who commented that although he could always find some external area of a renovated house that exposed the fact that the house had been renovated or added on to, after scrutinizing our home, he said he couldn't find any area or clue that suggested that the original structure had been altered.
Additionally, we appreciate your prompt response in correcting the minor post-construction problem areas that needed attention -- the small ceiling crack, spare room floor boards, front door, etc. Not only was it good to have those little things taken care of in such a prompt and efficient manner, it was also good to again experience the friendly and courteous demeanor of your family of workers.

Unfortunately, I do need to mention that Coastal Decorating never did get back to us to fix the cracking and deteriorating grout in the new upstairs bathroom shower stall -- none of the grout in any of the other three bathrooms (shower or tub -- old or new) have had or have that problem; it appears something was not done right, and this problem still needs to be corrected.

In closing, we thank you again for the pictures of the house and for a job well done!

Best regards to all,
