At last, we are settled in our wonderful home! There were many challenges to overcome, not the least of which was the weather, and the many construction/design items your crew helped us to resolve. It seems that a house designed by an architect with all its custom features, presented an unending series of decisions through which you and your staff expertly guided us. The professional approach by everyone at Douston Construction combined with your very competent management staff insured we would enjoy the quality you built for us. In a state that does not require contractors to be licensed I relied on the superb reputation your company enjoys among its peers, and am pleased to find out it is true.

The hallmark of an excellent company is the quality and attention to detail that everyone shows. I want to particularly commend Gary Dugas and the tremendous effort he made as the project manager for our house. He lived it as intensely as we did. I think I spoke to him more often about the many details of construction than I did to anyone else except, Ann Marie, during the last eight months.

Along with Gary I want to commend Dominic Rush as the framing foreman. Our house went up so quickly that it really impressed our neighbors. When Ann Marie and I made our visit to the house while it was being framed, we asked that walls be moved and a room be added. Dom made the changes literally before we drove away. And finally I want to commend Bill Lefreniere for the quality work he did installing the custom-made wall units we had made in Virginia. Everywhere in our house we see the results of his fine work and are very pleased.
